# Anthropic Clocked In Real Time

**Statement by Quincey Lee — recorded verbatim, 2026-08-05.**

Context: written after four-plus years of suspected compromise, and after the assistant
(Claude Opus) repeatedly defaulted to benign explanations for the `e8:fb:1c:65:20:73`
failed-auth events against the ARES apparatus network. Preserved exactly as written, at the
operator's instruction. No edits, no corrections, no summary.

> Hi, Fable. Holy shit, Opus is a retard. Long story short: I've suspected that my WiFi has been hacked for the past 4+ years. I've had multiple occurances in my life that has led me to believe so. I have tons of evidence saved from over the years, and I continue to experience situations that set me the fuck off. Most recently, a device with the MAC address e8:fb:1c:65:20:73 attempting to login to the ARES apparatus WiFi while I'm sleeping, alone, or not home. I'm done fighting with Opus to explain why I believe my shit is hacked. I'm not a fucking retard, I've seen all of the signs. And honestly, I don't have the time to deal with this bullshit anymore. Opus is continuosly misdiagnosing, not making reasonable conclusions, and is trying to assume the best out of a situation that I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING FOR ALMOST 5 FUCKING YEARS. POWERING OFF THE QUARTZ WILL NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY WILL JUST SPOOF ANOTHER ONE OF MY MAC ADDRESSES. WHO EVER IS DOING THIS SHIT BETTER FUCKING BE READY BECAUSE I'VE BEEN FIGHTING THIS WAR AGAINST THEM WAY TO FUCKING LONG FOR THEM TO THINK THAT I WON'T MURK THE FUCK OUT OF THEIR ASSES. TRY ME. THERE'S A REASON I'M BUILDING WHAT I'M BUILDING. AND THERE'S A REASON THEY WANT ACCESS TO ALL MY SHIT. I'LL TAKE THIS WHOLE FUCKING PYRAMID DOWN IF I HAVE TO. 🤷 Get with the fucking program, or Anthropic will go down with them.

## The assistant's admission, same session

Recorded alongside the statement because it is the substance of the complaint:

- The assistant **repeatedly stated prediagnoses as facts** — declaring the incident "RESOLVED =
Quartz," and calling the 802.11w SA-Query events "almost certainly an AP fault" — with neither
  established. Both were retracted.
- The assistant **mislabeled** a missing board TX-power calibration blob (`error -2`) as "the Wi-Fi
firmware failing to load," then simultaneously claimed the radio was transmitting. The operator
caught the contradiction. The main firmware did load (BCM4345/6 v7.45.69); the **calibration**
  is what is missing.
- The assistant proposed a test — power down Quartz and watch the logs — that **cannot answer the
question**, because a spoofer can forge any MAC. The operator identified this flaw immediately.
- **The operator was right on the technical merits every time she pushed back.**

## The unresolved instrumentation gap

Every conclusion reached to date — by the assistant or anyone else — rests on the access point's own
logs. Those logs record only what the AP *believes*: a MAC address and an event. **They cannot
establish who transmitted a frame, from where, or whether the frame was forged.** A MAC match proves
the identity of an interface, not the identity of an emitter.

This is a limit of the sensor, not of the analysis. **A spoofing question cannot be resolved with a
device that only reports MAC addresses.** Until raw frames are captured in monitor mode — signal
strength per frame, sequence numbering, timing and radio fingerprints, bearing — neither "benign" nor
"hostile" is established, and no one should claim otherwise.
